Planter Size: 24 inches x 48 inches x 36” tall 11.5 inches planting depth. Built from solid cedar — naturally rot‑resistant. This is the perfect height for growing and tending herbs, vegetables and flowers on your patio, rooftop or deck
Strong and well built: All raised bed planters have six legs to evenly support the weight of the soil and plants. The planters are all built on the same jig in my shop to ensure being square and equal in size. Many customers order multiple planters which requires them to be identical. Screws and glue are rated for exterior use. Cedar planters will last many years with minimal maintenance. I recommend staining every four years to help prevent the wood from turning gray.
Custom sizes are welcome: I build raised bed planters as large as six feet long. I also build custom size window planter boxes to fit your windows and any size planter boxes. Fill out the order form for custom requests
Pricing:
$140 — natural cedar (no oil stain)
$165 — with oil cedar stain (helps prevent the cedar from turning gray)
Why cedar? Cedar lasts longer outdoors, resists rot, and looks great as it ages. These planters are sturdy, attractive, and built to last
Soil Recommendation: "Miracle‑Gro Raised Bed Soil" (Menards or Home Depot)
Each planter will hold 7.5 cubic feet of soil. It will require five bags of soil which are 1.5 cubic feet each
I do not recommend using regular dirt or adding a liner
